Senior Management

Craig Gattinger
Chief Executive Officer

Craig Gattinger is responsible for developing and overseeing LifeMark Health's strategic and business plans. Craig has been in the industry for over 20 years, and has an extensive network of industry contacts. Craig has proven himself as a successful clinic operator, and together with Ron Lowe, has been able to grow LifeMark Health into Canada's largest full service provider of both integrated rehabilitation services and patient care products.

Craig graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Physical Therapy. His Physical Therapy career began with National and Olympic Hockey Teams from 1978-1985 including his position as Team Physical Therapist for the Calgary Flames (NHL) from 1985-1992.


Ron Lowe
President

Ron Lowe has been involved in the rehabilitation and physiotherapy fields since opening his first clinic in 1983. In addition to developing and overseeing the Calgary group of clinics, he and partner Craig Gattinger, helped develop physiotherapy at the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre and Ron served as the Director of Physiotherapy there from 1989-93. Ron has worked at numerous national and international sporting events including the Olympic and Commonwealth games and as a therapist for the National Rugby team and with the Calgary Stampeder football team. Ron is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.


Peter J. Stymiest
Chief Operating Officer, LifeMark Health division

Prior to joining LifeMark Health, Peter Stymiest’s career began as a Clinic Director in Hamilton, Ontario in 1987, and within several years he progressed to becoming the VP Operations, Eastern Region, overseeing 30 private clinics for Canadian Back Institute, a national private rehabilitation company. Peter joined LifeMark Health in 1999 as VP Operations for LifeMark Health. He has since instituted a new clinician compensation model, assisted in the development of the company’s new IT system and its rollout, and implemented company wide efficiency standards. Peter is a licensed physical therapist and has his MBA from Queens University in Ontario.


David MacDonald
Chief Operating Officer, Columbia Health Centre division

David MacDonald has worked with Columbia Health Centers for the past 15 years in a number of capacities. He has helped grow the business significantly by adding programs and services that facilitate a timely and safe return to work. David MacDonald graduated from the University of New Brunswick with Bachelor of Physical Education in 1983, Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1989. He has worked in a variety of rehabilitation environments from a small rural private physical therapy clinic in Barhead, Alberta to the largest private interdisciplinary rehabilitation center in Canada. Mr. MacDonald received his Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University in May 2001. For the past 10 years he has been a CARF Surveyor performing accreditation site surveys on organizations throughout North America.
