Abeed started practicing in 2004 as part of the HIATS program at Lifemark, which helped him to develop a real verve and passion for treating patients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. He is committed to spreading the awareness of this beneficial service to all, with numerous presentations to diverse audiences through published articles and appearances on local radio.

Abeed graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. He was competency certified in vestibular rehabilitation via Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA and Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. He is also qualified to deliver training on the BrainPort® Balance device.

In his free time, Abeed enjoys watching hockey and playing all sorts of sports, particularly soccer which has always been a favorite past time of his. He co-founded a local soccer camp in Vancouver, dedicating himself to helping local youths develop their soccer skills and mentoring them on leadership skills and community involvement.
