Adam graduated with an honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2007) and followed this with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from McMaster University (2010). Prior to entering physiotherapy, Adam worked as an ergonomist for the Iron Ore Company of Canada in Newfoundland and as an ergonomic consultant in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
His qualifications include: Selective Functional Movement Assessment - Level 1 (SFMA1), Certification in Vestibular Therapy (Dizziness and Balance Assessment and Management), ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist – Concussion Assessment and Management (ITPT), Gunn IMS Certification (GIMS), CPA Orthopaedic Division Level 3 Manual Therapist, Kinesio Taping (KT1 and KT2), Neuro Orthopaedic Institute’s Mobilisation of the Nervous System, and McKenzie Part A Certification. Adam continues to pursue further qualifications and you are certain to see this list grow.
Adam was a member of the University of Waterloo men's volleyball team and achieved Academic All-Canadian for his final season of competition and this experience has helped him understand the focus, discipline, and motivation needed to maintain the health needed to perform at a competitive level. In his spare time, Adam is an avid climber, hiker, traveler and guitar player and is excited to have the opportunity to pursue these on the beautiful Western Coast of Canada.
