Amanda completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2016. Previously, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary in 2014. Amanda completed her training as a vestibular therapist and been mentored in the area of concussion / mild traumatic brain injury assessment and treatment.
Amanda treats with an active, function-based approach supplemented with manual techniques such as joint mobilization and soft-tissue massage. She uses a client-centered philosophy, working with her clients to reach their goals in ways that are meaningful to them.
Enthusiastic about learning new techniques, Amanda is currently interested in continuing her education in functional movement patterns and manual therapy.
Amanda has been a dancer for the majority of her life, most recently performing with a Bollywood dance group in Calgary. As a native Calgarian, Amanda spent a lot of time in the mountains hiking. She enjoys running, climbing and photography and is looking forward to exploring the outdoors around Toronto.
