About
Amanda completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after having completed her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from Athabasca University. Amanda supplements her education with her past experience working as a professional ballet dancer, and uses her passion to empower and collaborate with clients to find success on their own terms in their rehabilitative journey.
Amanda has an interest in treating all populations as she has diverse experience working with athletes, geriatrics, and general populations. Amanda believes in a collaborative approach and in giving clients the tools they need to take control of their own rehabilitation. Amanda emphasizes therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and education in her treatment approach.
Amanda’s love for physicality and movement began with her devotion to dance and she believes in incorporating the individual’s passion into their rehabilitation. Amanda continues to stay active and loves participating in fitness classes at her local gym. Outside of work Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
Amanda is currently on maternity leave until January 2022.
