Amy joined the Lifemark team in September 2020, having just completed the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) that summer. Amy is originally from Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick, and completed her Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University (Sackville, New Brunswick), in 2018, and was happy to return to the area to begin her career in Amherst with Lifemark. Amy is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists.

As a new graduate, Amy is keenly interested in continuing education and professional development. She has taken the WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluation certification course through Lifemark, and has attended the CAOT 2020 Virtual Conference, and the Superior Seating and Mobility Conference (2019) in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She has also taken additional courses offered by the University of Alberta on seating and mobility and tele-rehabilitation.

Amy believes in using a holistic approach to providing client-centered care and that everybody has a right to the occupations they deem meaningful. Outside of work, Amy enjoys literature, her pets, gardening, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
