Amy graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2009. She previously attended St. Francis Xavier University achieving Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Human Kinetics and Human Nutrition.
Since 2009, Amy has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic and Women’s Health Divisions. Amy has completed a number of physiotherapy courses, including courses that focus on movement impairment syndromes, preventing running injuries, acupuncture, and functional dry needling.
Amy began practicing yoga in university and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2006. In 2007, she became a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner. Amy practices both of these in her spare time and also enjoys when aspects of these holistic modalities can assist in treating her physiotherapy patients.
