Amy graduated from the University of Manitoba wiith her Master of Physical Therapy with distinction in 2016, after completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology with distinction, with a minor in Ageing. Since graduating, Amy has taken courses on exercise therapy with osteoporosis and k-taping, and is currently pursuing certification in manual therapy.
Amy has been involved with sports throughout her life, as well as other alternative activities, leaving her with an interest for lifelong physical literacy and mobility for all ages. She believes in client-centered care, as well as an active rehabilitation treatment style including individual exercises and hands-on treatment, and self-management tools for all patients.
At home, Amy enjoys trying many differenct activities, from snowboarding, camping, curling and volleyball, to reading, crocheting, and baking, and is a huge movie junkie as well.
