Ashley graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2017. While completing both degrees, Ashley participated in many extracurricular activities in the community with focus on geriatric programming and athletics. These experiences have inspired her interest in both sports injury management and geriatrics. This interest grew further while completing her masters as she had two placements in fall prevention and two in private practice setting seeing populations of all ages in athletics, workplace injury, and motor vehicle accidents.
Originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, Ashley joined Lifemark in 2019 to grow in her career as a physiotherapist. Ashley aims to create an individualized treatment program for each of her patients by using an evidence based approach through education, exercise and manual therapy. She believes encouraging movement and educating patients on their injury is a key attribute to empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
In Ashley’s free time she enjoys being outside hiking, going to the gym and traveling!
