Ashley graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2013, following completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary’s University in 2011. Ashley is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia, and holds memberships with both the Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Since graduating, Ashley has worked primarily in private and community settings, with a focus on mental health, case management, ergonomics and vocational rehabilitation. Ashley has continued her education with additional training in wheelchair assessments, return-to-work planning, transferable skills analysis, and job-site assessments. Ashley will soon pursue training in the Workwell Functional Capacity Evaluation to expand her abilities and knowledge as an Occupational Therapist within the Lifemark team. Ashley enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan, and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their functional goals. Ashley believes a balance between work and leisure is essential to maintaining good health and wellness.
Ashley loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys exploring the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. She currently volunteers with the Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapists as the Central Representative, and has contributed to the Society for the past several years.
