Ashly completed a Master of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2002 after receiving an Honor’s Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction.
Ashly’s diverse clinical practice has included assessment and provision of assistive devices for individuals with physical disabilities; early intervention for children with special needs; coaching and consultation regarding complex behavioral management; transition planning from the pediatric to adult care systems; as well as helping individuals with physical health, mental health and cognitive challenges improve their functional engagement in daily activities at home, work and school. Over her years of practice, she has taken numerous professional development courses and is committed to life-long learning, with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (i.e., PGAP).
Ashly is passionate about helping people overcome health-related challenges to achieve their best potential. In her spare time, Ashly can be found exploring the sun and snow on mountains around the world with her husband.
