Ben graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology followed by a Master of Physical Therapy. He started working part-time in the hospital orthopaedic/surgical wards and has now transitioned into working in both private and public settings, giving Ben a well-rounded scope of practice. He is also involved in training, mentoring, and preparing international physiotherapists for the Canadian Physiotherapy National Licensing Exam.
Ben enjoys interacting with clients of all ages and activity levels. He combines education, exercise, manual therapy, and electrophysical modalities to optimize clients’ rehabilitation and performance. Ben also likes to empower his clients with strategies to self-manage their injuries and prevent re-injury. He has a particular interest in treating work-related injuries, repetitive strain, and motor vehicle accidents as well as sports-related injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Ben lives an active lifestyle playing competitive badminton and has hiked most of the mountains in the Lower Mainland. He also loves camping and exploring other mountains across BC and AB.
