Bree completed a BSc with Advanced Major in Biology at St. Francis Xavier University, followed by a BSc in Kinesiology with distinction at Dalhousie University. She then went on to complete her MSc in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University.

Bree is an avid long-distance runner and competed on the varsity cross-country and track and field teams while attending St. Francis Xavier University. She was a CIS all-academic Canadian during her time as a student-athlete. Additionally, she was the recipient of the 2014 Matthew Knox Award from Dalhousie’s Faculty of Health and Human Performance.

Bree enjoys volunteering in the community and has been involved with several organizations including Blind Sport Nova Scotia, Feed Nova Scotia, and Capital District Health Authority. In addition, she was the co-chair in 2015 for Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Health Professions “For the Health of It” event which raised funds for Katrin’s Karepackage through the Canadian Cancer Society.

Bree is very passionate about physical activity and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. She promotes exercise as one of the most important forms of physiotherapy treatment. She loves helping people feel better and educating people on how to become more active throughout their day.
