Bryenna is a graduate of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Her clinical interests include the study of the physiology of various organ systems and the respective effects of exercise.
Bryenna has a particular interest in the cardiovascular system and had the opportunity to work in the Centre for Heart, Lung and Vascular Health while working towards her Undergraduate Degree at UBCO. She assisted with data collection by reviewing echocardiographic recordings analyzing the severity of saline bubble transmission through patent foramen ovales. The information gained was used in a study now published in the Journal of American Physiology.
Bryenna began her career as a Kinesiologist in 2016 working in Occupational Rehabilitation in Nanaimo. She has since moved back to the Okanagan to continue in the same field for Lifemark.
In her free time, Bryenna enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, mountain and trail biking, paddle boarding and kayaking, playing soccer, snowboarding, and taking her two dogs on adventures.
