About
Cara graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013 before completing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology in 2007. After graduating, she practiced as a Registered Physiotherapist in Saskatoon in a private orthopaedic clinic before moving to Toronto to gain specific pelvic health physiotherapy training. She moved back to her hometown, Saskatoon, in 2021 and joined the Lifemark team shortly thereafter.
Cara has a particular interest in and passion for pelvic health physiotherapy. She has engaged in extensive continuing education courses and attended international conferences to further her professional development. Her training has included courses on pelvic pain, urogenital dysfunction, pre/postnatal care, and the fitting of pessaries. Cara enjoys her role as a Teaching Assistant at Pelvic Health Solutions, a private educational company devoted to increasing awareness about pelvic health and training physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals on how to assess and treat pelvic health conditions. Cara approaches health from a holistic perspective and is committed to providing individualized, empowering, compassionate care. Cara would be honoured to assist you in your journey toward pelvic health.
When Cara is not in the clinic, you can find her hiking in the mountains, curled up with a personal growth book, or tearing it up on the Latin dance floor!
