Chelsea was born and raised on Canada's east coast where she achieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of Prince Edward Island (2014). She then moved to Nova Scotia to complete a Master of Science in Physiotherapy (2016) at Dalhousie University. She moved to Calgary in January 2018 to gain more experience, both in life and work.
Chelsea grew up playing competitive sports (softball, track and field, basketball and volleyball) her whole life. Attending physiotherapy as a patient is what sparked her interest in pursuing it as a career. She enjoys working with athletes of all levels and has worked with multiple varsity sport and club teams as their trainer throughout her education degrees.
Chelsea's physiotherapy practice incorporates a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and adjunct treatments such as acupuncture. She strongly believes in the importance of getting patients to be actively involved in their own recovery process and strives to provide the tools and knowledge necessary for them to recover from their injury/health condition as well as to prevent re-injury.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys hiking, yoga, running, biking and travel/adventure. Since moving here, she has fallen in love with the mountains and plans to pursue new hobbies like rock climbing and mountaineering.
