Cheryl graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2012 and was the recipient of the Lifelong Learner award for being the student who most exemplified dedication and commitment to improving their skills, knowledge and ability within the realms of massage therapy. Cheryl also received a certificate for pregnancy massage. Since graduating, Cheryl has expanded her knowledge and hands-on therapy by obtaining certificates in cupping, fascial approaches for head, neck and jaw, guasha therapy Level 1 & 2, and meditation Level 1. Cheryl is a member in good standing with Massage Therapist's Association of Alberta.
Cheryl believes that regular massage is essential for one's well-being and strives to care for each patient with compassion and support to ensure proper muscle balance and body awareness as a whole. She offers a variety of massage techniques from relaxation to deep-tissue work including pregnancy and infant massage. Her techniques include Swedish, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, cupping, hydotherapy, and remedial exercise to help increase the quality of each client's life. She utilizes all of her skills to assist with recovery or injury prevention. Cheryl enjoys a healthy lifestyle involving Yoga, fitness and outdoor activities.
