Christie started her therapeutic career as a yoga instructor and registered massage therapist in 2010. Christie realized that ‘Health’ has many aspects and most of health issues we experience in life are complex and therefore an integrative approach is necessary to address them. Her curiosity and desire to learn more about the integrative approach to health have guided her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hakomi psychotherapy and laser & esthetics.
Christie volunteered for various health and art events including Global Familymed Foundation in Calgary, Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans and Live Nation Festivals in Calgary. She is a firm believer of sustainable health which empowers people to take ownership of their own health through continuous effort to understand the complexity of health and embrace nourishment within personal and professional support systems.
Christie loves traveling, she feels that she learns so much about other cultures and people as well as herself with travelling. Christie is an aspiring dancer, music producer and cook. She performs at various dance events in her free time and loves cooking for her friends and family. Christie is a lifetime learner and she is planning to educate herself more particularly in psychology, movement/dance therapy and nutritional therapy.
