Christina graduated with an undergraduate Honours Specialization degree in Kinesiology from Western University in 2017. She then went on to complete her MSc in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2019. She is now registered with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario as a Resident Physiotherapist as she prepares for the practical exam component which she will be attempting in summer 2021.
Christina has experience working in various physiotherapy fields: outpatient orthopaedics, ICU surgical and cardiorespiratory, neurology, and trauma/post-op orthopaedics. She implements patient education, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy in her treatments, taking an empathetic and patient-centred approach to care while promoting long term health and wellbeing.
Christina believes in the importance of ongoing professional development and education and is looking forward to further progressing her existing knowledge and skills as a Resident Physiotherapist on the Lifemark team!
In her spare time, Christina enjoys staying active (hiking, recreational sports), cooking, making Spotify playlists, and keeping her few house plants alive.
