Claudia has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from New York, and over 800 hours of post-graduate studies, primarily in manual therapy. In her career, she has designed curriculum, instructed students and mentored professionals, owned/managed private multidisciplinary healthcare clinics, and carried a wide caseload of specialty clients in her own private practice.

Claudia first entered pelvic health care through personal injury rehabilitation. She brings to her clients a lifelong passion for relieving pain and restoring function, engaging her clients through compassion, caring, joy and laughter. Claudia brings over 25 years of clinical practice in pelvic health care to her practice at Lifemark in Calgary.

She has successfully treated clients for chronic pelvic pain, coccydynia, colonic obstruction, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), endometriosis, abdominopelvic adhesions & scar tissue, incontinence (urinary & fecal), interstitial cystitis, levator ani syndrome, pelvic/sacral/hip malalignment, pelvic floor dysfunction (weakness, myofascial pain), pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse), prostate drainage, pubis osteitis, pudendal & peripheral nerve entrapment, somatic trauma release (e.g., for sexual abuse), uterine fibroid adhesions, vaginismus, vaginitis, vulvodynia, and vulvar vestibulitis.

In treatment, she draws upon her training in internal (intra-vaginal & intra-rectal) and external myofascial release, visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage, nerve mobilization, craniosacral therapy, pelvic floor biofeedback, medical chi gong, orthopedic manual therapies such as muscle energy, positional release, active release, Maitland and Cyriax techniques; and neurologic movement therapies such as proprioceptive neuromuscular rehabilitation and neurodevelopment therapy.
