Corinne is a duly qualified Physiotherapist registered to practice in the province of Ontario by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Corinne is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA), the Pain Science Division of the CPA and the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario in 1989. Corinne has also received her advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of CPA in 1999. In 2013 Corinne completed the Vestibular Competency Course through Emory University School of Medicine and is a North America certified Vestibular Therapist. Corinne actively teaches post graduate orthopaedic physiotherapy course and is a faculty member for the Clinical Masters Program at UWO. Corinne is also a mentor to fellow physiotherapists who are challenging the levels of specialized orthopaedic courses through the National Orthopaedic Division. Corinne’s physiotherapy practice utilizes manual therapy, exercise prescription to resolve/correct muscle imbalances, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion treatment, kinesio taping and a strong emphasis on empowering the patient to take an active role in the rehabilitation process. To keep active herself, Corinne participates in cycling, hiking and weight training. In the past Corinne competed at a Provincial level in road cycling, becoming the provincial champion in 2006 for Master’s women. Corinne previously played soccer at a competitive level, being the South Western Ontario Most Valuable player in 1988. She also participated in many other sports recreationally for fun.
