Deepak graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Science with specialization in Psychology from the University of Alberta. He has also completed a certificate program in Traditional Chinese medicine with a focus in acupuncture.

Deepak recently moved to the Fleetwood area of Surrey and is currently the clinic director at Lifemark Physiotherapy Hazelwood. Although he is in an administrative role, he maintains direct contact with patient care.

Deepak’s physiotherapy practice utilizes manual therapy, exercise prescription to correct/resolve muscle imbalances that lead to musculoskeletal injury and impairment, as well as acupuncture and other modalities. His goal with each patient is to educate them about their condition and to empower them to take an active role in their rehabilitation process. He is a firm believer that an active treatment plan is the key to a successful recovery. Deepak continues to pursue a wide range of post-graduate education courses to further his knowledge and clinical skills in manual therapy, exercise prescription, postural correction and realignment and the treatment of various musculoskeletal impairments.

Deepak has three small children who keep him very active during evenings and weekends.
