Denise completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Acadia University as well as a Master of Science in Surgical Research from McGill University.

Denise lives in Belleville with her husband and their two young sons. She is a lifelong athlete with experience in high level equestrian sports as well as varsity cross-country running. Denise has a passion for rehabilitation with a special interest in athletes, Canadian Forces personnel, and veterans.
