Dimple graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara, India, after which she worked at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital for about a year where she had the opportunity to work at multiple units like orthopedics, neuromuscular unit, cardio-respiratory, NICU, burns and surgery.
To explore more in the physiotherapy world, she moved to Canada in 2017 and started her Master's in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She developed a keen interest in research while writing her thesis and continued working as a researcher at the University of Manitoba and University of Calgary after her graduation.
Dimple is passionate about treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. She believes strongly in evidence-based practice and focuses on an individualized patient-centered approach as she understands that each individual has different needs, goals and expectations. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise program, yoga, modalities and lots of education as a part of her treatment.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time in the mountains, experimenting new cooking recipes or reading a good book. Dimple is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Sindhi.
