About

Domenic graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Physical and Health Education and from the University of Ottawa with a post-graduate Bachelor of Education. While working at Women’s College Hospital Foot Care Centre, he earned his pedorthic qualifications.

Domenic is a Canadian certified pedorthist as well as a pedorthic technician. For over 25 years, he has specialized in providing custom-made orthotics fabricated through taking a plaster cast. Pedorthists have expertise in biomechanics of the foot and ankle and in orthotic provision and fabrication. Similar to a pharmacist filling medical prescriptions, a pedorthist is specially trained to fill your custom orthotic prescription.

As a two-time Boston marathoner and a varsity athlete, Domenic has a special interest in working with runners and those who want to stay active. He frequently works with elite athletes and also those who would like to be active, but who have difficulty getting traditional insoles or orthotics in their sports footwear (cleats, skates, boots, spikes) and dress shoes.

If you have had an orthotic previously, but didn’t or couldn’t wear it, schedule your next custom orthotic assessment with Domenic.
