Elizabeth graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta. Prior to completing her Occupational Therapy degree, Elizabeth completed a Master in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary, researching juvenile concussion. In addition, Elizabeth has completed training in Workwell Functional Capacity Evaluation Assessments, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Elizabeth was drawn to Occupational Therapy as a profession as she has always enjoyed working with people to help them improve their quality of life and overcome barriers they encounter in all aspects of their lives. She has experience working in return to work services, exposure therapy, concussion management, ergonomics, mental health settings, long-term care, homecare, and hospital-based Occupational Therapy care.
On the weekends, you can find Elizabeth in the mountains. Elizabeth spends her time mountaineering/scrambling in the summer and spends all winter skiing at her favourite resorts or skiing in the backcountry in search of powder or mountain summits.
