Erika is an Occupational Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from McGill University in 2008. As a therapist, her goal is to help clients to reach and maintain their functional goals through a person-centered and holistic approach to treatment. Since graduating, Erika has worked in varied clinical settings that have allowed her to work with clients ranging from being in acute to chronic stages of recovery. This knowledge and experience allows her to meet the client wherever they are at in their continuum of recovery.
Erika has furthered her education and taken additional courses including, Motivational Interviewing, training in WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluation, Cognitive Assessment and Rehabilitation, Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) for chronic pain and mental health conditions, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD.
Outside work, Erika enjoys watching her son grow up, being a coffee snob, and community theatre.
