Eryn Forsyth is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a graduate of the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM).
Prior to completing the 4-year TCMD program, Eryn obtained a Bachelor's of Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, as well as her 2200hr Massage Therapy Diploma. Eryn utilizes her educational background to combine the holistic healing of Chinese Medicine with her extensive Western anatomy, physiology, and current scientific evidence.
As an Acupuncturist/TCMD, she takes both a body and mind approach to developing her treatment plans. This enables her to get to the internal root of your health concern and figure out why you may be experiencing certain issues in order to treat mosty effectively, rather than just providing short term symptom relief. She utilizes acupuncture, motor point needling, electro-acupuncture, cupping, ear seeds, auricular acupuncture and/or dietary therapy into treatments as required.
Eryn has a strong passion for treating musculo-skeletal injuries and pain. Her other areas of interest include treating mental-emotional disorders (stress management, depression and anxiety), digestive disorders and women's health conditions (painful menstruation, infertility, menopausal symptoms, pre/postpartum etc).
When Eryn is not working, she can be found outside running, biking, kayaking, nordic skiing, hiking or camping in the mountains.
