Evan graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2008 after completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. Since he graduated, Evan has also completed his diploma in manual therapy and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy and has been certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation. Evan has also been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic Division since 2008. Evan’s physiotherapy practice utilizes manual therapy, joint manipulation, IMS (Dry Needling), exercise prescription, and education to resolve issues such as weakness and muscle imbalances that are causative factors in injury. Evan’s current practice is focused on the treatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries from competitive athletes to weekend warriors. Recently, Evan has also been involved in the development of a triage program for patients with shoulder injuries. Evan’s goal of treatment is to correct the cause of the injury rather than focusing solely on symptom management, and he believes that patient education and collaboration is the key in the prevention and resolution of injuries. In his spare time, you can either find Evan outdoors, running, snowboarding or cycling, or at home or a coffee shop planning his next travel destination.
