A Halifax native, Gillian earned a Bachelor of Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Therapy at Acadia University in 1998. She then completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto in 2001.
In 2002, Gillian opened her own physiotherapy clinic. After 12 years of taking on the ownership role, she decided to start a new chapter in her life and joined Lifemark. Gillian’s areas of interest are orthopeadics and pelvic health. Gillian is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and its women’s health division. Combining her orthopaedic skills and pelvic health training, Gillian is passionate to help individuals with urinary incontinence and pelvic pain dysfunction.
An equally enthusiastic and successful athlete, Gillian competed nationally in synchronized swimming for more than ten years and participated in the 1991 Canada Games. She was an avid runner who has regularly competed in 5K and 10K runs and has completed both a half and a full marathon. She also enjoys participating in activities such as golf and yoga. The other great passion in Gillian’s life is her family. Gillian enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and their three children.
