Gloria completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2016. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2014. Throughout university, Gloria competed as a varsity cross country and track and field athlete for both the University of Calgary and University of Alberta. Since graduating, Gloria has begun to pursue additional courses in manual therapy through the orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She also has plans to pursue certification in functional dry needling.
Gloria’s physiotherapy treatment approach involves a combination of manual therapy techniques, individualized exercise prescription and education. Gloria understands first-hand how difficult injuries can be and recognizes the importance of getting her patients back to the activities they love as early as possible. She strongly believes in providing her patients with the knowledge and tools to be successful with their rehab in the long term and prevent their injuries from recurring.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoys running, hiking, biking, yoga or anything active.
