Griffin Fitzhenry is a graduate of Western University's Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program, and previously completed his Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Kinesiology at Queen's University.
As a licenced occupational therapist, Griffin is passionate about enhancing the health, quality of life, and well-being for all his clients and he values the client-centered and holistic approach of occupational therapy. Griffin is committed to providing evidence-based and personalized rehabilitation to facilitate re-engagement in daily activities, foster independence, and achieve one's rehabilitation goals. Griffin has a special interest in concussion care and education, mental health, chronic pain, and return-to-work planning.
Griffin has taken additional training in Action Over Inertia as well as Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy, both of which are interventions aimed to improve the mood and occupational engagement for individuals living with mental illness. Griffin plans to engage in continuing education to further strengthen his skill set in chronic pain rehabilitation, psychotherapy modalities, and functional assessments and ergonomic consultations.
In his spare time, Griffin enjoys staying active and is dedicated to his training as a swimmer, runner, and triathlete!
