Halak is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012 and got her Master’s degree in the field of Rehabilitation in 2014 from Gujarat University, India.

Halak started her career as a PT in a private multi-specialty hospital in India. In November 2016, she joined the State Government Hospital in India as a PT and worked there until moving to Canada in 2018. She has been working as a PT in Canada since Jan 2019.

Halak believes that each client has a unique tendency to respond to treatment and hence, a tailor-made protocol for each client is a must. She is skilled in Maitland mobilization and soft tissue release techniques. She has received post graduate certifications in McKenzie techniques (MDT), acupuncture and dry needling. She has also received training for aerobic conditioning programs, sports rehab and kinesiotaping.

Halak wants to take a step further in her career by getting advanced certifications in Manual Therapy. She is passionate about her profession and likes to connect with clients to help them through during their recovery. 

Outside of work, Halak is an outdoorsy and fun-loving person. During her leisure time, she enjoys painting, watching TV and reading.
