Holly is a qualified Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario and is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and also holds Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Carleton University. Holly is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
Holly has worked as an occupational therapist since 2016 and joined the Lifemark team in 2017. Through work and education, Holly has gained experience in a variety of practice settings including private practice, homecare, and hospital care (both acute and rehabilitation facilities). She has worked with children, adults and older adults to assess and treat various physical, psychosocial, environmental, and socioeconomic barriers to independent living.
Holly has completed additional courses in concussion and stroke management, as well as the use of cognitive rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has been trained to complete cognitive demands analysis and cognitive abilities evaluation assessments. Holly looks forward to being trained to complete job site analysis, job demands analysis, functional capacity evaluation and functional abilities evaluation assessments.
Holly is a compassionate and dedicated clinician who enjoys getting to know her clients. She looks forward to working with her clients to enable their goals and to help them fully participate in their daily activities.
Holly is originally from Sarnia and is happy to be back in Southwestern Ontario. When not at work, she enjoys travelling, giving back to her community, staying active and spending time with family, friends and pets.
