Jaydyn completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Prior to completing his Master’s degree, he attained his Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia Okanagan – UBCO.
Jaydyn’s passion for rehab started at an early age with his extensive athletic history. During his Bachelor’s program, this led to simultaneous roles as a varsity trainer and volunteer kinesiologist within a traumatic brain injury recovery center. Both settings allowed for experience in providing on and off-field injury care, as well as the neurological, musculoskeletal, and psychosocial aspects of rehabilitation.
Due to his history in complex rehabilitative settings, and own personal history of injury, he firmly believes in a patient-centered approach grounded in evidence-based practice. Through education, manual therapy, and exercise he strives to not only treat the problem at hand but also address the root cause through preventative/restorative care.
Jaydyn is looking forward to future educational pursuits in advanced manual therapy techniques, as well as concussion, vestibular, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) rehab.
Outside of the clinic, Jaydyn enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, climbing, cycling, and playing co-ed soccer. On those colder days, he is also known to be bit of a gamer.
