About

Jenn is originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and studied Massage Therapy at Eastern College in Halifax while working part time as a fitness instructor at GoodLife Fitness. Upon completion of her diploma, she has developed proficient skills in deep-tissue, general Swedish massage, and myofascial techniques, as well as knowledge in passive and active stretching techniques.

Recently, Jenn has completed her 1st level in Manual Lymph Drainage. This specialized skill set allows her to identify and help reduce injury-related swelling in individuals that have a healthy lymphatic system. This type of treatment can speed up recovery time and assist in preventing further injury. Injuries that may benefit from this type of treatment include tendinitis, bursitis, whiplash, certain types of trauma-related swelling, migraines, TMJ, and many others.

Jenn is also certified in Hot Stone massage, great for tense and sore muscles. The use of heated stones allows her to treat deep into the muscle tissue, targeting tight muscles while providing a soothing experience for her patients.

Through massage, Jenn is able to help her patients reduce their stress, recover from injuries, and improve their overall tissue health. She works with her patients so that they can achieve their goals and get back to their daily lives.

Jenn has volunteered with outreach programs across the province including the Bluenose Marathon, MS Walk and MS Bike Tour, the IWK Health and Wellness Fair, Hockey Heroes, and most recently the Department of Community Services. She has a lot of experience working with MS patients and has treated a wide range of injuries in patients of all ages.

In her spare time, Jenn enjoys teaching her fitness classes, gardening, and spending time with her husband and pets. She's eager to start helping more people improve their health and wellness.
