Jenna holds a Master in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Exercise Sciences. Jenna is certified to practice IMS/Dry Needling and she is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute to practical anatomical acupuncture. She has acquired specialized training in neurokinetic therapy and in soft-tissue release which she combines with other manual therapy techniques, patient education, and therapeutic exercise to normalize proper movement patterns, optimize function and assist her clients in achieving their goals.
As an athlete and outdoors enthusiast, Jenna has a strong understanding of the physical demands of sport and utilizes her knowledge of sport and activity-specific biomechanics to successfully return her clients to their respective activities. Some of her sport-related experiences include fitness testing the Vancouver Canucks, coaching youth girls soccer, and most recently, acting as the physiotherapist for the Canadian men's soccer team at the 2016 Lawyers' World Cup (Mundiavocat).
Although retired from competitive sports, particularly soccer and basketball, Jenna continues to live an active and healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, you can find her cycling, running, hiking, climbing, playing slow-pitch softball and, in general, enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends.
