Kaitlin completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, and is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
Kaitlin has experience addressing physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and functional barriers to optimize clients’ participation in daily life. She has several years of experience working with individuals with mental illness, and has additional experience working in hospital, outpatient, and community rehabilitation settings to assess and treat clients with orthopedic and/or neurological impairments. Kaitlin has taken additional training in applied suicide intervention, motivational interviewing, psychosocial factors influencing return to work, and cognitive assessment and intervention.
