Katelyn graduated from a concurrent program and Bachelor of Education at Laurentian University in 2013. She believes the skills she developed as a teacher contribute to her ability to provide truly holistic and individualized care. Katelyn graduated from McMaster in 2015 from the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Katelyn has an interest in mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation. She has participated in courses including Mental Health First Aid, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Level 1 Motivational Interviewing, and has participated two cognitive behavioural therapy seminars.
She has participated in the Cognitive Demands Analysis, Cognitive Abilities Evaluation, Ergonomic Assessment, and Physical Demands Analysis training provided by Lifemark. Additionally, she is a certified provider of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program.
Katelyn is an outdoor enthusiast and believes time spent in the outdoors can benefit your health physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her hobbies include back country canoe tripping, running, and spending time with her family.
