Kayla earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from the University of Toronto where she completed a double major in Psychology and French Linguistics.
Kayla is passionate about working with her clients to help them re-engage in all areas of their life after it has been disrupted. She uses her occupational therapy training to consider all factors that may be contributing to this disruption. This may include her client’s cognitive, physical and emotional factors, their physical and social environments and the activities of daily living of concern. She then works with her clients to problem solve ways to return to meaningful engagement in their lives.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys reading, practising yoga and spending time with her Husky.
