Kennedy was born and raised in a small town called Highgate. She graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology from Wilfred Laurier University; and with for a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Western University.

She grew up playing a wide variety of sports including soccer at the Premier level. In her spare time, she plays volleyball and basketball recreationally; doing arts and crafts, such as painting and woodworking. 

When she is not working in Clinic, you can find her enjoying the outdoors on her family farm where she injoys making fresh syrup.
