Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia (2014) and his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University (2018).
Kevin grew up training as a pianist and drummer and attended Jazz Studies at Capilano University for one year before realizing his greater passion was in finding ways to connect with other people and help individuals who are struggling with mental health challenges. He decided to pursue occupational therapy because the profession is all about finding creative solutions to help people engage in meaningful occupations, no matter what the barrier might be, whether it is physical, psychological, and/or cognitive. Kevin strongly believes in the importance of helping people regain and maintain their independence and is a strong advocator for people affected by invisible impairments, such as traumatic brain injuries, mental health issues, or chronic pain.
Kevin has previous experience working with adults and adolescents living with acquired brain injuries, mental health issues including first episode psychosis and anxiety, spinal cord injuries, and stroke.
At Lifemark, Kevin helps clients by providing cognitive rehabilitation, routine management, energy conservation, stress management, equipment recommendations, and assists with return to work.
In his free time, Kevin can be found going on long hikes on the North Shore, running in Port Moody, or playing music alone or with friends.
