Lauren graduated in 2004 with a M.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University. In her 10 years of experience, she has worked in a variety of areas of practice including: acute care, transitional services, home health, and vocational rehabilitation. She has extensive practice experience in physical medicine, psychiatry, brain injury, and vocational services.
She has provided preceptorship for a variety of occupational therapy students and some clinical teaching for rehabilitation aides. Lauren has also worked as a Program Coordinator for a local community health centre where she provided triage services, program evaluation, leadership and supervisory duties. She currently is the Manager of OT Services with Lifemark Health Centre.
As a wife and mother of two young children, Lauren has a busy life. Her "me time" consists of Flamenco dancing, skiing, working out at the gym, and walking in nature.
