About

Linda has been working as a physiotherapist since 1997. She graduated with a physiotherapy degree with the university medal for highest overall mark. After working for a short period, Linda returned to school to study changes in gait and balance in people with Parkinsons who have trained in Tai Chi. She graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2000.

Linda has worked in orthopedics, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, cardiac rehabilitation, neurology, sports injury, motor vehicle accidents, ergonomics, and work-related injuries. She has advanced training in manual therapy and the correction of muscle imbalances to restore normal joint action and control. Concussion management is now a passion of Linda’s and she has advanced training in vestibular (dizziness) and concussion treatment and management. She is part of a team at Lifemark that helps people with concussion manage their injury and return to pre-injury health.

Linda has martial arts training (Tai Kwon Do and Tai Chi) and is a long-time cyclist. In her youth, she was an avid down hill skier. She has trained many years in yoga and meditation. For years she taught Wu style Tai Chi. Although injuries prevent some of these activities, she can relate well to people participating in these sports.

With over 25 years experience, Linda is skilled with returning people to function no matter what their injury. She believes that no matter where you start, you can be better and wellness is key to happiness.
