About
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at the University of Alberta in 2018. During my time at university, I had the opportunity to work in the Occupational Physiology Lab doing fitness testing for firefighter applicants. I also was able to volunteer in a neuro-recovery center, which gave me a unique understanding of how to adapt exercises to individuals’ abilities. Certified with Alberta Kinesiology Association and as a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, I enjoy working with clients to become active in a safe and healthy way.
Growing up and playing sports in the area, I have seen how concussions can impact developing athletes and their teams. After taking Concussion Management – Level 1 workshop, I work specifically with people who have sustained concussions. My aim is to equip my clients with the necessary self-management tools to recover from their concussion as quickly and safely as possible, so they can get back to the activity they love.
I am currently pursuing Graduate Studies in Pain Management. I hope to help people who are experiencing pain learn how to treat and manage it based on the source.
In my free time, I love playing slow pitch, hiking, and playing with my dog Mellie!
