Margaret is a Registered Psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience. She has provided clinical counselling and psychotherapy to diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families and groups. Her training is in diverse modalities of psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, narrative therapy, single session, online therapy/cybercounselling, trauma informed/PTSD, couple and family therapy.
In her practice, Margaret applies cognitive behavioural, solution focused, and narrative perspective, and is grounded in the strength based and trauma informed therapy. She has provided therapy to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic symptoms, grief, relationship breakdown, work related issues, substance use, professional and personal identity issues.
Margaret holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, her post graduate training includes Certificate in Cybercounselling, CBT, Couple and Family Therapy Studies, working with First Responders and Military/Veterans with PTSD and Moral Injury, amongst many others. Margaret is committed to ongoing education and is continuously upgrading through professional development activities.
Margaret is a long-term resident of London, Ontario, where she settled with her family in 1990. In her personal life, Margaret enjoys nature, physical activity, spending time with family and friends, travelling and discovering history, culture, and learning languages. Margaret provides psychotherapy in English and Polish.
