Mari graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2017 and also pursued her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster, graduating in 2019.
Mari has completed additional training in athletic taping, stroke assessment using the CMSA tool, as well as soft tissue release techniques. She incorporates her past experience with exercise prescription with manual therapy and functional training to optimize pain levels and overall health. Her interests include working with orthopaedic and neurological populations. Mari is currently working through her orthopaedic levels within the Orthopaedic Division and is taking acupuncture through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program. She plans on taking her pelvic health levels while also taking courses in concussion/vestibular rehabilitation.
In her spare time, Mari enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, travelling and spending time with friends and family. She has volunteered in many community programs in the McMaster community focusing on spinal cord, multiple sclerosis, and cardiovascular rehabilitation and feels personal satisfaction when her contributions improve others’ health.
