Marie-Claire graduated with Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University. She also has an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead University. Marie-Claire has experience working with both children and adults living with mental health conditions, physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities. Marie-Claire also has experience working in rehabilitation services with individuals recovering from surgery, a fall or stroke.

Marie-Claire believes that occupational therapy is most effective when it is truly client-centered. She understands that clients know themselves best and she hopes to always collaborate with clients when providing treatment. She values listening to and understanding the client’s needs and personal goals.

In her free time, Marie-Claire enjoys camping, hiking, baking and watching movies with friends. Marie-Claire also values social advocacy work and strives to support organizations that provide services to community members in need.
