Maryam's post-secondary education began with psychology and international business, but she quickly found herself re-routing to study Chinese medicine for four years. She was one of two students to complete a two-month practicum in the China Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and successfully completed her program to become a registered acupuncturist and doctor of Chinese medicine.

Maryam took her first course in cranio sacral therapy at the age of 17 and has completed cranio sacral therapy levels and somato emotional release training through the Upledger Institute. While her main focus is acupuncture and herbal medicine, she has studied and is registered in a series of related subjects such as massage therapy, yoga instruction, reflexology, and reiki.

Maryam is passionate about helping others take the next step in improving their health, no matter where their journey may begin.
