Megan graduated from Macewan University’s two-year Massage Therapy program in 2019. She has received training in a number of techniques including Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, trigger-point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, joint mobilization and therapeutic exercise. Megan holds an active membership with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta.
Megan has previously completed two years of post-secondary education in a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at U of A, Augustana Campus in the years 2015-2017. She then started in the Massage Therapy program in September 2017. The two years in kinesiology were gas on the fire of increasing fascination of the human body and passion towards body health management. Following her Massage diploma, Megan plans to take further educational courses as she believes there is always more one can learn and being able to properly education clients on their body and their role is an important element in a successful treatment process.
Outside the clinic, Megan enjoys bike riding, playing indoor and beach volleyball and slow-pitch.
